Buenos Aires, September 2023 – Tupperware joins Breast Cancer Awareness Month through an alliance with LALCEC (The Argentine League of Fight Against Cancer) to raise awareness for early detection.
Mammography is the most effective method of early detection of Breast Cancer and, for this reason, in the month of October in its Campaigns 16: https://bit.ly/OctubreRosaC16 and 17, for each purchase of the Pink October Set that includes the “Eco Twist” bottle and the “Good Vibes Only” Poeme, the company will be collaborating in the donation of mammograms for women throughout the country. “We are very proud to partner with LALCEC to bring to the forefront such an important awareness campaign as Breast Cancer prevention. Our company is essentially a women’s company, which is why it is so significant for us to join this campaign,” commented Martín Cortabarria, Marketing Director of Tupperware Brands Argentina.

On the other hand, Bruno Nascimbene from LALCEC added that “Day by day we work to raise awareness among the population about the importance of annual mammography starting at the age of 40 to detect breast cancer early. Early diagnosis makes it possible to reduce the risk and, in most cases, cure the disease, which is why we are so excited about this campaign that we are carrying out together with Tupperware®, as we hope it will reach many women who can replicate the message to their peers”.
The Argentine League of Fight Against Cancer (LALCEC) is a centennial civil society organization created on July 22, 1921 by Mrs. Helena Larroque de Roffo who, since then, stated that the best way to reduce the incidence of cancer is to work on prevention and early detection of the disease. Like its founder, LALCEC is a strong, committed and dynamic organization that participates in different networks with peers, companies and governments, having an active presence at national and international level. Its headquarters are in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and it has more than 80 representations throughout the country with which it works together to achieve its mission. https://www.lalcec.org.ar/
